Sample Question #191 (statistics)
In cluster analysis, it’s important that we measure the distance properly and correctly. What are some of the ways to measure distance?
Distance allows us to define the clusters. Distance can be measured in many different ways: Euclidean distance, squared Euclidean distance, block distance, Minkowski measure, chi-squared distance, etc. Which one to use depends on the nature of the data and the clustering criterion.
